
Wildcard (Seasonal) Roast
Our Wildcard roast is where we explore the unique flavours of coffee from across the world. Each season (or until stock runs out) will bring something new; new beans, roast style or blends made using only the highest quality beans we can get our hands on!
It's a little caffeinated adventure into the unknown. This is for those who want to try something a bit more unique and experiment with the brews.
April 2023 Roast: "Agua y Fuego"
These beans come from a coffee-growing cooperative in the Antigua region of Guatemala between two volcanos called "Agua" and "Fuego" which translates to "Water" and "Fire".
We've roasted this one light-medium which means you really get to enjoy the uniqueness of the coffee beans. Tasting notes of milk chocolate, plum and spice. It has medium acidity and is very smooth and full-bodied.
This one cuts through milk amazingly well, so is perfect for a milky espresso (on our machine, we're aiming for 18 grams in the basket for a 30-second extraction). As a filter coffee, you'll notice the more fruity notes.

Red Stag™ is our signature medium roast. Like your trusty .308 - it's proven, reliable and versatile. This is a super smooth coffee and our most popular roast for good reason.
Sambar™ is our heavy-hitting dark roast. This is the .50cal of the coffee world. Full-bodied with a bold flavour, it's perfect for those who like a little more oomph in their coffee.
Full Send™ is a rich and super smooth brew with bold notes of chocolates and nuts balanced with some caramel sweetness. It's punchier than our Red Stag roast but without the bitterness of our Sambar roast.
Chamois™ is an exciting blend of premium beans from the best coffee growing regions across the world. With distinctly smooth, caramel and juicy citrus notes, you can expect a syrupy mouthfeel with a lingering chocolatey aftertaste. There’s just a slight citric hit at the end which really balances the coffee out well. We like this one as a milk based espresso or black filter.
